Helen Sabolek

Helen Sabolek Consiglio has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching yoga since 2012. Helen has a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Regis College where her research interests include the neurobiology of learning and memory as well as the effects of yoga and exercise on cognitive function and academic achievement. She is also a mother of two. Yoga has allowed her to find greater balance in her life and to develop a kinder relationship with her body. Helen integrates alignment and movement with a focus on balancing effort and ease in the body to increase flexibility, range of motion and to improve postural imbalances both in one’s yoga practice and daily life.
